Aligning Action with Goals

Are you clowning around or moving forward?
There’s a goal you have, or maybe a vision. Let’s say your goal is generating 10% higher revenue this year, or attracting new 5 clients a week to your business. You probably already know the things you should do to get there, and I'll bet your marketing strategy includes actions like:

Make a post on social media
Do a facebook live
Attend one networking event a week
Inquire with 1 person/organization a week to get a public speaking gig
Write an article for the paper
Maybe run a print ad
Distribute flyers, knowing that people need to see something about 8 times for it to sink in
Send customers high-value content email

But when it comes down to it, many business owners let self-talk or distractions get in the way of their productivity and growth.

Fear OR perfectionism (thinking it has to be perfect)
Fear that someone will think it’s pushy, or
Fear of not knowing what to say, send, or do, or
Clowning around -- something else came up that seemed more fun or more important

So there you are, with your goals in place but you’re not doing the THINGS that will help you move closer to them. What is ONE SIMPLE THING you can do today that will help you move closer to your goals?
